VamiSec Security Seal
Visible proof that a product or system has undergone a penetration test by VamiSec.

What the Security Seal stands for
The Security Seal confirms that the tested object – for example a web application, a product or an infrastructure – has undergone a penetration test by VamiSec. It documents that the test was carried out, not its outcome.
The seal does not state that the tested object is free of vulnerabilities. It is a snapshot at the time of the test, not a guarantee of the system’s ongoing security.
Every seal carries a unique ID in the format VSC-YYYY-NNNN (year of issue, sequential number) and points to this page.
Every seal carries a unique ID
The ID consists of three parts and is printed on every seal issued.
Prefix identifying VamiSec as the issuer.
The year in which the seal was issued.
Four-digit sequential number.

Example: VSC-2026-7219 – issued in 2026, sequential number 7219.
When the seal is awarded
The Security Seal is issued when the following criteria are met:
Penetration test by VamiSec
The tested object has undergone a penetration test by VamiSec.
Defined and documented scope
The scope of the test is clearly defined and documented in the test report.
Completed test with report
The test is complete and the test report has been handed over to the client.
A retest and the remediation of identified vulnerabilities are not a prerequisite for issuance. The Security Seal is issued by VamiSec on the basis of the test report.
